Our sweet but timid, handsome boy Stache is looking for his FUREVER home. Stache was a colony kitty in a local neighborhood that was brought in to be neutered a couple months ago and we just fell in love with his sweet face. Stache would do well in a quiet, calm environment because he is a little nervous. He gets along well with our clinic kitties and would probably acclimate quicker if there is another kitty in the household to help boost his confidence. He is approximately 8 months old, neutered, FeLV/FIV negative, and fully vaccinated. If you are interested or know anyone that is looking to add to their household, please give us a call at 912-239-6450.

We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! November is Adopt a Senior Pet awareness month! If you are looking to add a furry member to your family this holiday season, we have some reasons on why adopting a senior pet is a good idea! - They deserve a second chance! Many senior pets are surrendered due to their owner passing or having to going into a nursing home that will not allow animals, so, at no fault of their own, they end up homeless.... - The majority of them are already trained. Potty training and obedience training will be a lot less work for you with senior pets. - They have a lot less energy. If you have a busy lifestyle, then senior dog or cat adoption is probably the best choice for your family because senior pets are usually calmer. The crazy puppy or kitten stages are long gone and senior pets are content to just cuddle and relax or take short walks around the block. - They will show their gratitude! When you give a dog or cat a second chance, they are infinitely grateful. Your heart will be filled with the love of an animal who was given a second chance. - Lower adoption fees! Many of these pets have lower fees as an incentive to adopt them quickly. - No size related surprises! Senior pets are already grown to their full size so their will be no issue with size in the future. Adopting a senior pet can SAVE ITS LIFE! As sad as it is, an older dog doesn't have the best odds if they're not in a no-kill shelter. - Most senior pets have experience with an owner. Because of this, many senior dogs already know how to interact with humans, and have experience listening to an owner. See more
