The Cabinet has approved investment of INR1810.56 crore (approximately USD 240 million) for 210 MW Luhri Stage-I Hydro Electric Project on river Satluj, Shimla &Kullu districts of Himachal Pradesh. The project will generate 758.20 million units of electricity annually. The Luhri Stage-I Hydro Electric Project shall be commissioned within a span of 62 months.
