Happy New Year!
With more than 800,000 toys distributed, and more than 400,000 children supported locally, Toys for Tots has helped less fortunate children share in the magic of the holidays. CROFT has been a supporter of Toys for Tots for many years and our employees always step up when asked to give; this year was no exception. With only 21 days until Christmas, we encourage you to help spread the cheer by donating to the Toys for Tots Virtual Toy Box. You can do so at this link: www.toysfortotsbox.com
In a year that has been very unpredictable, what has stayed resolute is our immense gratitude for our colleagues, clients, employees, families and friends. Wishing you and your family a festive and safe Thanksgiving.
Happy Birthday, Briana!
North Cobb Christian School recently held its ribbon cutting for the 38,500 square foot Upper School facility. The school includes a two-story building consisting of a student lounge, administrative offices and counseling suites, lounge areas, clinic, teacher workroom and classrooms for various subjects. A one story STEM suite, with a makeshop and a SOAR Lab which provides direct access outside. CROFT provided both architecture and engineering, allowing seamless coordination for North Cobb Christian School. Representing CROFT at the event was the project team: Earl Smith, Anthony Iorillo, Jeff Morgan, Michael Gunn and Wei Lu.
Wishing you a Happy Birthday, Earl!
CROFT celebrated the ribbon cutting for the Cobb Police Training facility with various Cobb County Government representatives and family members of those the facility will serve. The ribbon cutting symbolizes the official opening of the 117,000 SF facility located on the East-West Connector. The facility features a 300-seat tiered auditorium, a tactical training room, state of the art fitness area, a 175 foot streetscape used as a tactical training course and so much more. The facility is already drawing attention locally and nationally for its comprehensive approach and state-of-the-art design. Representing CROFT at the ribbon-cutting was Jim Croft, Earl Smith, Kip Stokes, Stacey Chapman and Anne Powell.
Merry Christmas from the CROFT family to yours!
Our spooktacularly talented team participated in CROFT’s Annual Pumpkin Design Contest. We’ve made our internal awards but now we are looking for your favorite! Comment which pumpkin you think should receive the People’s Choice award! We know it’s Halloween, but don’t be afraid to vote! #CROFTober #CROFTcares
The Atlanta Regional Military Affairs Council (ARMAC), in conjunction with the Cobb Chamber, presented the 68th Annual ARMAC Military Appreciation Luncheon at the Cobb Galleria. CROFT was pleased to serve as a Three-Star Sponsor of the event. The luncheon was to honor our men and women in uniform. CROFT supports every branch of the military whole-heartedly, with employees representing various branches of service. In addition to our very busy federal studio which is complet...ing projects across the country, our corporate studio is working with the Cobb Veteran’s Memorial Foundation on the towering tribute of the Cobb Veteran’s Memorial located in Cobb County. With more than 60,000 Veteran’s in Cobb County this monument will be a thank you for the selfless service and sacrifices made by Veteran’s and their families. Representing CROFT at the event was Jim Croft, Mark Jackson, Stacey Chapman and Brian O’Malley. If you would like to donate or learn more about the Cobb Veteran’s Memorial, please visit: www.cobbveteransmemorial.com. Leadership development strategies should be high on the list of priorities for any growing organization. At CROFT, our leadership team strives to become better leaders and coaches to our team members. They believe if they can become more informed in leadership strategies and business insights, they can develop the next generation of high performing leaders. Simply put, to lead others effectively, you need to lead yourself first. Currently our leadership team and many of our team members are reading, Extreme Ownership by U.S. Navy Seals Jocko Willink and Leif Babin. The outstanding, highly motivational book covers leadership tactics at every level and highlights where a team can succeed or fail through business management and potential challenges. #CROFTbookclub #thefirstruleofbookclub #extremeownership #croftcares

On Wednesday’s We Wear Pinkto recognize Breast Cancer Awareness Month (BCAM). BCAM is an annual health campaign organized by breast cancer charities every October to increase awareness and to raise funds for research into its cause, prevention, diagnosis, treatment and cure. Recognizing this campaign and shining a spotlight on it is extremely important to CROFT because many of our team members and their families have personally been impacted by the disease. stated Brittany Holt, CROFT’s Marketing Coordinator and a breast cancer survivor. For the month of October the CROFT building’s logo will be illuminated in PINK lights to show our support for the cause.
