Thankful Thursday!!! This one is packed and has several components! . . First, we are so thankful to each and every one of our members who rode last month!!! As you may recall, our challenge for October was to raise money for the Ed & Dora Voyles Breast Cancer Center by 1) a studio donation for total number of rides completed by the studio and 2) our Cycle Gives Dual Ride outdoors on the eve of Halloween! .... . Well the totals are in and we are SO excited to announce that we will be donating over $1300!!! This is incredible and we could not have done it without each and every one of you!!! . . The second part of this week’s Thankful Thursday goes to CycleStars @cyclebee and @coltonsouthworth!!! These two led our incredible Ghouls Dual and it’s safe to say that everyone had an amazing night!!! This was a member request, so hopefully this will help out more than just a few of you who may be wondering about those CycleBar Rewards emails you get after you check in for each ride! . . Cyclebar Rewards is a program that started a few years ago. Members accumulate points for the following activities: * Refer a friend (who signs up for a membership - earn 250 pts... * Birthday - earn 100 pts * Join the rewards program - earn 50 pts * Attend a class - earn 3 pts * CB Boutique Purchases - earn 1 pt for every $1 spent . . Next you may be wondering what you can get for all your points. Once you have set up your account with Cyclebar Rewards, you can visit the Perks tab. This section will show your all the ways in which you can redeem your points! There are options like gift cards, where you can redeem in 50 point increments. $5 for 50 points, $10 for 100 points, etc. You can also get deals on resorts and local businesses, as well as savings on hotels and vacations, and can purchase select good directly for points. Well, if 2020 has taught us anything, it’s that this year can be (and will continue to be) unpredictable. With that being said, we have to be grateful for the small things. For the everyday heroes who go out at all hours of the day so that we can get to work, go to school, and do the things we typically do. . . In the wake of storm Zeta’s effects on our community and surrounding areas, we are spotlighting @ga_power! Over 1M Atlanta area residents were without power after t...he storms last night and early this morning. And while many of us have had our power restored, others are still waiting. These everyday heroes, as well as the people clearing the fallen trees and debris from our streets so that we can get back to what we need to do, go out and step up when we are in need. . .
