Be safe in the rain folks! Lots of folks slipping and sliding. Give the other cars lots of room! You may be the best driver in the world, but you can't control what the other guy will do. ... We need time to react.

If this is legitimate, it could be a benefit for just about everyone I know! (It also seems to resonate with articles earlier in the Pandemic about treatments including Vitamin C,D, and Zinc that seemed to warrant followup.) Worst case scenario, most of us could use some extra vitamins in our Diet. We are spending less time than we should in the sunshine (our primary source of Vitamin D) and an astounding amount of time under "Artificial Light" and we weren't doing all that well before the Pandemic.

To all in the Education system...Teachers, Parents, Students, Support staff and Administrators at all levels. Thanks for caring, Thanks for the very real concer...n! We've all seen positive support, frustration, and a sincere desire to do the best we can on these pages over the past week. Please remember: Nobody has had to do this before. Especially not on this scale, or in this environment. Everyone cares and Everyone is doing the best they know how to. We all have limited resources, we all are in Different Boats, the view from each boat is different. Let's continue to try to be kind to each other, try to treat each other with respect, try help each other make tomorrow better.

Back to School for Paulding! We know there is a lot going on with this year's return to classes. Let's make sure that with all everything else, we are really paying attention with the school buses. The kids haven't had to do this since sometime in March. Actually, NO ONE has had to do this since March. Kids will be distracted, excited or nervous. Parent's will be distracted, excited or nervous. I know the teachers are excited to see everyone! Pay Attention to the lights and signs on the school bus, please. We want the return to the classrooms to be great!

We have been in the process of switching phone carriers for our phones and had gotten all new equipment in. Bad timing happens and the activation of everything occurred at the same time a nationwide tower failure happens. T-Mobile is affected as is Consumer Cellular. I have spoken with a support technician and it's baffling to them also. We currently can be reached via email ([email protected]) or via FB messenger. We all hit walls from time to time. At times we punch through them. Other times we bounce off and go over or around.... And every once and a while we hit one and struggle to figure out how to get past it. And when it gets real bad, life feels like you are running through one wall after another and just taking beatings. This is when it wears on people. And this is when we need others. I see some AH-MAZING moms and dads creating nothing short of freakin miracles at home for their kids right now. I know they are stressed, run down, even hurting- and yet they pull it off. You don’t have to create Martha Stewart level projects every day, I mean just keeping the kids alive and fed is a miracle some days- and I’m not even joking. Many of these little people don’t fully understand what’s going on and it’s creating stress for them which than magnifies the stress for mom and dad. Many are banding together in groups, sharing ideas, even socializing on zoom etc. So to all the parents out there - wow!!! You’re doing great even if you don’t give yourself enough credit. And then we have people finding ways to keep their business running.....which is another miraculous feat. Some, like our clients with us at our business brokerage, are also finding how we can maximize the relief money they deserve vs doing it on their own and having to wait or leaving money on the table. And then families are also supporting local businesses by forming groups to share who is still opening or delivering....which is an awesome way to share, interact AND support restaurants and bars - kinda like Storm Cellar in Lincoln The point is - people are finding ways to get help from others and work together!! So if you are struggling, it’s not a weakness - it’s life. Reach out to others. It’s times like these that we can lean on each other for support. Pretending nothing is wrong isn’t a solution. The smartest, strongest people get help from others EVERY day. Some people admire me and the things I do to serve others. So let me be reaaaaallllly clear. I couldn’t do ANY of this on my own. Most have no idea how many people I count on for support...personally and professionally....not just during times like this, but EVERY day of the year. And to all of those who help me or support me - THANK YOU!!!! So when you start hitting walls and feel run down a bit or struggle, reach out to others. You’ll find more than you realize. And if you see someone struggling, find out what you can do. Sometimes even something as simple as sending a meme can brighten their day and remind them to laugh. Other times they may need something a bit more....and when we reach out to check on each other, it’s a good reminder that people matter. YOU matter. I was originally coming here to post a question but I had all the thoughts above hit me and I had to share. So here’s the question I was going to ask -it’s loosely related and what got me thinking.....so here it is: When you feel like you are hitting a wall, name a song that helps pick you back up or amps you up to get you going again? ** yes that little question led to the deeper thoughts above lol!!! my brain is weird sometimes So hit a reaction button, share this with others, and comment your thoughts AND your song choice below..... yeah extra work, I know, but YOU are worth it and so are others
