We are excited and honored to be a part of this important, local work for our community.

We have exciting news to share! The Samuel Slater Museum is now the Samuel Slater Experience! As we've been working more and more on this project, the word ‘mus...eum’ started to feel not quite right to describe what we’re creating. We strive to be far more than your average museum. We’re creating an experience for our visitors and we wanted our name to reflect that. While we have a new name, nothing about our mission or story has changed. The Samuel Slater Experience (as always) will be an educational, immersive, interactive experience showcasing Webster’s rich history, the Industrial Revolution and of course, Samuel Slater. And we can’t wait for you to experience it. See more

We’ve been spending a lot of time in Webster, Massachusetts, a town just south of Boston. There are some juicy stories here and we’re excited to share! In this brand new museum, visitors will explore the Industrial Revolution like never before and learn the true story (full of juicy drama) about how it got started. Samuel Slater Museum, coming soon! #museums #explore #history #industrialrevolution #massachusetts #design

Samuel Slater. One of the founding fathers of the American Industrial Revolution. Dubbed Slater the Traitor after he stole patents from England and crossed the Atlantic to start his life in America. Yeah, that’s juicy. Didn’t learn that in history class!
