On this #WorkshopWednesday we have the honor of sharing the story of this 5.56ct emerald shown off beautifully in a white gold hinged shank mounting accented by diamonds. After much haggling, this emerald travelled home in the bags of one of our service members from an Afghan bazaar to his wife, marking the end of a 24 year military career. Now, seven years later, it can be worn and cherished for the very special heirloom it is. Through the darkness of the past few weeks we have been given a chance to pause and reflect on the current world we live in. The silver lining in this pandemic is that the Earth has shown us a glimmer of her ability to regenerate, given a chance. As we turn our eyes to the future and our #newnormal, I am inspired to build on what we as a studio do in supporting green initiatives.
