Ready, set, go! Cup pours help build calm and comfortable breath control. You can practice at home with these steps: Step 1: Let child play with cups. Gently sprinkle water over child’s arms, legs, and back (water should not touch child’s face). ... Step 2: once child is comfortable with step 1, cue your child with Ready, Set, Go and gently sprinkle water over your child’s face for 1 second. Repeat sprinkling water over child’s arms and hands before doing another cup pour. As your child gains more comfort, increase cup pour by 1-2 seconds a week. See more
