DMC will allow visitors, with restrictions, beginning today, March 3rd. The Visitor Guidelines are as follows: *Visitation hours are 10am-6pm *Mask Required (Bring your own mask) *Check-in at Wellostation and get wristband from front desk... *ONE Visitor per patient (remain in the room for the duration of the visit) *NO Children Allowed *Check with front desk to make sure patient is allowed visitors Please do not come to the hospital if you: *Are feeling sick *Have COVID-19 or flu-like symptoms *Have tested positive for COVID-19 within the last three weeks *Have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 within the last two weeks *Have been asked to be on home quarantine or isolation. Visitation guidelines will be evaluated daily and updates will be announced each morning. Call 229-424-7100 to check daily status before coming to the hospital. The health and safety of our patients, families and staff members is our top priority. Our visitation guidelines balance preventing the spread of COVID-19 with the needs of our patients and their loved ones. We continue to monitor the spread of COVID-19 in our community, and may update the guidelines as needed to provide safe care to everyone. Patient Visitors must come through front entrance 10am-5pm and use the ER entrance from 5pm-6pm. Cafeteria will reopen to the public beginning today 7-9:30am for breakfast and 11:30-1:30pm for lunch. Meals will be provided as to-go plates. All visitors must check-in at the Wellostation before entering the cafeteria. Gift Shop hours are 10am-2pm M-F (Hours may change daily)

We were also blessed with the opportunity to give back to our community by participating in the food box distribution on Friday, February 12th. Thank you Central United Methodist Church Fitzgerald and the other local churches for providing Thanksgiving meals for our DMC staff working today and this evening. We appreciate this wonderful service to our community! Happy Thanksgiving!

DMC enjoyed spreading some Thanksgiving blessings today ~ We participated in Jackie’s Helping Hands annual Thanksgiving basket and food distribution. We also rounded up some helpers to deliver the canned goods, from our DMC Fall Food Drive, to the Christian Kitchen. Thanks to all of our DMC employees who donated canned goods making our food drive a success!

Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, the front lobby and cafeteria will be closed to the public November 26-29th (Thursday-Sunday). Visitation: One visitor Per Patient Per day; during this time, visitors will enter and be screened through the Emergency Room. The ER will call the appropriate area (ICU/MS) and confirm that the patient has not had a visitor. Our plans are to reopen Monday, November 30th with visitors entering through the front lobby. Updates will be provided if any...thing changes. Happy Thanksgiving!!
