Join us in welcoming our new Douglas County District Attorney's Office District Attorney Dalia Racine. The PD and DA's Office work very closely together in the prosecution of cases and we have already established open lines of communication between the two offices. We look forward to working with DA Racine and her staff! #onewithourcommunity

A message from Chief Gary Sparks: As 2021 rolls in, I would like to say the past year has been a challenge for all of us during these unprecedented times. With that being said, I want to thank this community for the unwavering support shown to the men and women of our department. As we move forward, I pledge to you that my department will continue to serve our community in the professional manner that you expect and deserve. We will continue to be professional and transpar...ent. We pledge to be accountable for our actions and fair and respectful in our encounters with you, our citizens. We will never stop striving to be better than the year before. Nothing less will be acceptable. I encourage everyone to get to know the officers, come by, visit, attend our events, get involved. We will be true to our motto: #onewithourcommunity. I hope you have a peaceful and safe new year and I look forward to serving our great community in 2021. Chief Sparks

Celebrate responsibly. Plan for a designated driver, a taxi, a rideshare. Don't drink and drive. The life you save may be your own. #onewithourcommunity
