Have you met our newest Doctor? Meet Dr. Rodgers! Originally from the St Louis area, Dr. Rodgers’ family moved to Atlanta when he was 10 years old. He grew up attending Shallowford Elementary and Dunwoody High School. At an early age he began thinking of Dentistry as a profession. After receiving a good deal of encouragement and completing a couple of science projects concerning teeth he had decided to follow the educational pathway that would lead him to becoming a dentist. ...Dr. Rodgers attended Vanderbilt University for his undergraduate studies and finished with a Bachelor of Arts degree in the double Major of Molecular Biology and Mathematics. He was fortunate to get accepted by Emory University School of Dentistry after only three years at Vanderbilt and equally fortunate to be able to receive his B.A. through a Senior-in-Absentia program. By the summer of 1985 he graduated from Emory University School of Dentistry with a degree of Doctor of Dental Surgery and became licensed to practice in Georgia. In his spare time Dr. Rodgers enjoys acting in amateur theatrical productions. Although he has not been able to be involved in as many as he would like he still keeps an eye out for an opportunity to meet new friends and entertain people. Volunteering his time and skills has been an aspect of Dr. Rodgers life for many years. Starting with his volunteer work at Vanderbilt Hospital up through his twenty-six years of service with Atlanta’s Ben Massell Dental Clinic, giving back to the community has been a source of fulfillment for him. Since 2005 he has worked as a volunteer Dentist for the humanitarian organization ServeHaiti to improve the lives of the people in Gran Bois, Haiti. This remote region of this beleaguered country is in dire need of medical and dental services as well as many of the basic necessities such as clean water and electricity. See more

Dr. Shola R. Adesoji is a Memphis, Tennessee native with a strong Nigerian heritage. She completed her BA in Chemistry at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee and then moved to Kentucky where she received her DMD at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. Shortly after graduation, she moved to Philadelphia to begin her post-doctoral residency at Temple University-Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry. This Advanced Education in General Dentistry program p...rovided Dr. Adesoji with the opportunity to refine her skills in general and cosmetic procedures as it all paid off when she received the Resident of the Year award from her faculty advisors. Upon completing residency, Dr. Adesoji stayed in Philadelphia for two years treating patients in the downtown area. Although she loved the northeast, she knew that she wanted to settle down in the south. In July 2019, Dr. Adesoji moved to Atlanta, Georgia to continue her dental career and to be closer to home. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Adesoji enjoys boot camp and spin classes at her gym as well as exploring all that Atlanta has to offer especially the food! She is also an avid reader of thriller/mystery novels and is always looking for a new book to read. Dr. Adesoji is excited to be back down south, helping, treating and building relationships with all of her patients! Let's give us a warm welcome to Dr. Adesoji. We are excited for her to join our team!
