Another successful surprise proposal! They haven't announced it yet but I have been given permission to post a few favorites and congratulate these two! That was really fun! We went to Wormsloe, then Isle of Hope then off to Forsyth Park.

Another surprise proposal in Savannah - Brett - a firefighter and paramedic asked Ashley (who, of course, is studying cosmetology - check out her hair and make-up!) to be his wife and she said yes! It was a beautiful day in Forsyth Park

I am always asked prior to a photoshoot "What happens if it rains?" Since Savannah, GA is known for its sporadic rain showers when it looks like blue skies and then NOT raining after the 3rd time changing and rescheduling, I had come up with a simple and logical solution: Don't worry about it, we will figure something out. And that is exactly what Sean and I did to surprise Rhonda with Valentine's Day photoshoot. After all of my suggestions were rained out and then crowd...ed by others with the same ideas, I asked Sean if I could come to their apartment. Within 10 mins, Sean had noodles boiling for a "Lady & The Tramp" funny photo, Rhonda (now in on the surprise ran to the dollar store to buy a few props, and I brought some boas and hats to make it look like they were in a photo booth. I *am not* a graphics designer but I played around with a few photos to replicate a few famous movie posters - but the best part? WE WENT OUT IN THE RAIN! Just enjoy whatever the weather brings you and have clear umbrellas. I used my off-camera flash to light up the water droplets and her hair, plus I even closed my aperture and made it look like night photography with a flash of light. Overall, I was able to capture "them" Rhonda and Sean - who love their cats, love food, love to be silly, and love each other. Let's make some stories~! See more

We did things a little differently this time - Randall sent me a text telling me that since Rachel is "intelligent, ambitious, kind-hearted and has a flair for the dramatic" I was going to ask her to help me with my lighting. It worked! She went right along with my request and Randall was able to reach into his pocket without her knowing and told her how much he loved her. While I was editing the photos, I kept thinking about the ups and downs of marriage - and how "in rain or shine - you'll always be mine". Lots of love, luck, and laughter to you both!
