After having a dental implant placed, the main cause for receiving an immediate temporary crown is simply for cosmetic reasons. It is not necessary to have a temporary over the implant until several months after the implant has been integrated into the bone structure. Implant temporaries are generally only placed on front teeth, or any tooth that is seen when smiling and/or talking. The implant itself will hold the space open in the mouth and prevent tooth-shifting in that particular location. #TheMoreYouKnow
Happy Halloween!
Which one are you looking forward to most?
