AMA’s GME Innovation Summit: Day 1 began with dynamic keynote presentation by Heather Hanson, an attorney and CEO of Advocate to Win. She talked about the 5 ...C’s of an advocate: Connection, Compassion, Curiosity, Creativity, and Credibility. Breakout sessions were fabulous and included LEAD (Leadership Education in Advancing Diversity ), APECS (Assessment of Physical Exam and Communication Skills), and more. We even had chair yoga! Our AMA President , Susan Bailey MD virtually welcomed all attendees as we started the started the day. The AMA GME Innovations Summit focuses on challenges facing resident training, spotlight pioneering approaches to transform GME and sharing tactics to promote and sustain innovation.
