Vehicle fire a couple nights ago. Great job by our firefighters getting it done safely and correctly!

Eastanollee Fire responded to assist with a structure fire on Skyline Drive this morning around 4 Am. Carnes Creek Fire and Toccoa Fire were also on the scene.

The Eastanollee Fire Department joined in mutual aid training last Monday evening with Toccoa Fire Department. We covered drafting and high flow water operations with multiple apparatus. This was the aftermath of a head on collision we worked last week on Hwy 17. The van was traveling on the wrong side of the 4-lane highway. We landed a helicopter and sent other patients via ambulance to the hospital.

Early morning call for a pole on fire. The high voltage top wires were down and cause the power to be off at the station.

We responded to a wreck at Toccoa Speedway where the driver was hurt and could not exit the car. We successfully extricated the driver while working with EMS and track crew. A good reminder of the challenges that come with race cars. Teamwork was outstanding and successful. Our prayers go out to the driver for a speedy recovery.
