Eastside Elementary School

Polk School District has been assessing the impact of the storm damage to our schools and community today. The District will be closed tomorrow, October 30th, ...due to three schools and approximately 4,000 residences still without power. We understand that with so many outages, internet connection is not a possibility; therefore, distance learning is not required. MEAL DISTRIBUTION TODAY Come see us at Eastside every Monday from either 12-1 pm OR 4-5 pm for free meals for any child ages birth to 18 years old! Children do not need to be present when you pick up the meals.

Please help us welcome Nurse Ashley Ozment to Eastside! Nurse Ashley joins our school after dedicating 15 years to nursing at Floyd Primary Care and Center for Diabetes in Taylorsville. A Rockmart native, she and her husband Benjamin have two children who attend Eastside. We are excited for her to join our school, and we know she’ll do a great job caring for our students!
