There are many kinds of losses in lifelost love, unexpected death, public and personal tragedy yet the suffering and pain of loss may be transformed into a p...athway that leads to redemption and grace. In 2019, June 8 marked the 20th anniversary of my brother’s murder and the opening of the exhibition Loss. Redemption. Grace at my space EBD4 in Atlanta. In the span of the past year, it seems that the painful losses and global changes in our lives are leading towards a collective grace and awakening. In remembrance and celebration of the the power of art to change lives, thank you to the artists and poets who participated in the LRG exhibition, and to all who continue to respond to their inner and outer worlds. I am deeply grateful to have had the opportunity to help move through my own loss by creating an installation as an entryway to the exhibit in 2019.
