Effingham Eye Care is happy to announce that we will return to normal hours and begin seeing non-urgent patients again starting May 11th. We will be fully staffed and ready to meet your eye care needs. Due to the circumstances surrounding COVID19, we will be implementing new protocols to help ensure the safety of our patients and staff. We will be limiting the number of people allowed in our office and screening everyone as they enter the building. In conjunction with state m...andates, our state association, and the CDC, we have implemented new disinfection and social distancing standards. If you choose to visit our office, we ask that you: *Come alone unless you require a caretaker or guardian *Wear a mask that covers your mouth and nose *Fill out any necessary paperwork online ahead of time *Reschedule your visit if you have any symptoms of cold or upper respiratory illness *Call instead of coming in if possible (ordering contacts, paying balances, questions about insurance, etc) We realize that these changes may be inconvenient and a bit frustrating, but we ask for your patience during this time, as our new normal will take some getting used to. We are grateful for your continued support.

As the circumstances with COVID-19 are constantly evolving, we are continuing to monitor and consult with the CDC and Georgia Department of Public Health to make changes that are appropriate for the protection of our patients and co-workers. Our office continues to be closed to the general public for the time being. As of now, all routine eye care will be rescheduled until April 13th and beyond. Currently, we have limited daily hours of operation to manage urgent eye care nee...ds. Our doors will remain locked, but we are available for curbside pick up of glasses and contacts on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays between the hours of 10am-1pm daily.
