Today is Beyond Limits. Beyond Limits is far from an ordinary day at UGA Miracle. For 26.2 hours each year, we come together to go Beyond Limits for our hospital. Formerly known as $100 Day, we decided to change the name of this fundraising campaign to show that our endless support of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta has no monetary limits. This day is our largest fundraising push, and our goal each year is to go above and beyond what is imaginable for our kids. Today, I have... been challenged to raise $128 in honor of the 28 rooms in the CIRU (Comprehensive Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit). COVID-19 has truly turned our world upside down. There are very few aspects of life that can still be deemed normal. However, I have truly realized how precious normalcy is during these times. The kids at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta live a different normal than you and I, even in the pandemic. Even with COVID-19, kids cannot wait. Our hospital and our families have been my motivation for this strange year. They are strong and preserving, and it has truly been an inspiration to work so closely with them while being involved with UGA Miracle.
