Fun in the front too!! Textured lob IS SPRING!! Call it whatever you want. Hair lingo and styles/ colors get recycled all the time. Looks come back, get tweeked and get reinvented... ALL THE TIME! ... I'm not about to show my age, but all I can tell ya is that I really don't care if what my clients want is "trendy " or not...or I'm also not gonna get my panties in a bunch or think im better than another stylist or think it's silly for artists to think they come up with stuff even though it's been around for years... We're all learning we're all growing and we all seriously do things differently. No matter how "the same" it may of been! Some stylists following me literally were born the year I started beauty school... its all good! I urge thier creativity... I urge all of us! Be postive. No need for hasty comments and egos on fire.... some just don't know differently...they weren't even born yet! Lol..... give em a break! Costs nothing to be a nice person! Back in 2008..yeah 2008 when ombre/balayage started becoming more known (In my lifetime) I had a hillarious sassy client laugh and tell me.. "What is this ombre balayage look"? So I explained it to her..and she laughed hysterically (she was around 67 years old..but fit as a fiddle, fit as a 20 year old and healthier than most teenagers I know..but anyways)..she was literally crying and said.."oh hunny... back in my day..we just called them ROOTS "...and then she proceeded to talk about "frosting being a form of hiliting"... shes not wrong... So Let's just get off our high horses and embrace the beauty of NOW! .. not all are created equal...Im here to try out what works for YOU. IF its trends...then so be it...if its not..then so be it! ... thats the beauty of our industry! Just be true to yourself. Get educated and always... YOU DO YOU!! Be the bigger person. Xoxo Elle

Ironically enough, this look can be achieved with little maintenance, but yet it IS a cut that requires a bit of controlled chaos! Messy fun hair can look sexy & elegant, and bring out your inner boss babe bad chica tude.. or it can be light hearted, airy, fluffy, and soft and flowy... its totally your call! My recommendation that if you want a simple, do not get these kind of layers, but once you get the hang of this style, you style it literally once and maybe do teeny tiny touch ups depending on the day, and recycle products too!! . you can keep this style for multiple days in a row!
