PUBLIC HEARING ANNOUNCEMENT: The Euharlee Planning and Zoning Commission is hosting a Community Stakeholders Open House on Tuesday, January 26th at 7PM, at the... Euharlee Baptist Church. At this the open house, the commission seeks to engage with the community on a proposed phased plan for a future campground on 17 acres of City owned property. Social distancing will be observed. Although fall and winter aren’t our seasons, it doesn’t mean we, at ECO, aren’t planning and thinking ahead about our kayak, canoe, and tubing Etowah River loverswe have just added to our inventory! We just bought a new van, 38 new kayaks, tubes, and paddles to add to our already extensive inventory, to ensure that our 2021 float season will be the utmost stellar experience! Stay tuned. While Ron Thomas was able to accommodate many float events after Labor Day, I, Nan Turner Thomas, don’t have the staff to support those requests this year; I am sorry for those who were used to him accommodating your requests! Please be patient with us as we try to get our bearings without his guidance!

Vitamin D is super good for you & we have a pretty good idea of where you can get some, the old school way! Last put in is 1pm for tubes, 2pm for boats; final shuttle off the water is 6pm.

Great weather and great times today on the Etowah River, and ECO was working hard to get our floaters in the water! The rest of the weekend is also gearing up to be great weather days: remember we are open at 9 AM tomorrow and Monday for Labor Day!
