This is perfect hiking weather and the leaves are starting to show their fall foliage. There are miles and miles of trails in and around Gainesville- from the paved Highlands to Islands Trail system to Elachee's miles of trails. If you plan on bringing your dog, be sure to check ahead and make sure that dogs are welcomed and that your dog is prepared for a hike too!
