Family and Friends Counseling

I’m thinking about all the folks who have loneliness or sorrow on this holiday. I suspect it could be worse this year because of covid isolating. My heart is with you. Being alone on a holiday is not all it’s cracked up to be. I know this. So if you are alone - I see you. If you are with family that cannot embrace your authentic self - I see you. If this is not your year with your kiddo - I see you. ... If you had to give up precious family time bc of covid - I see you. If you are in a loveless marriage or dealing with divorce - I see you. If you are grieving the loss of someone dear to you - I see you. If you are dealing with illness whether it be mental, emotional, physical - I see you. If you have had the worst 2020 - I see you. If you are scared financially - I see you. I get it. I send you all gigantic hugs and cheek kisses. Unless touch makes you uncomfortable. Remember it’s okay to be grateful while also acknowledging sadness. Both are true. Take good gentle care and send yourself loving compassion. Love, Joylene
