Attention all FASTRAK Pro (Crate) Late Model teams: Hagerstown Speedway will be hosting their opening weekend of racing for the 2021 season with the FASTRAK Pro Late Model teams on the schedule. Gates open at 4 pm. Pit admission is $30 and grandstand admission $15. Fire 'em up!

UPDATE ON STAN LESTER (3/3/21) - Stan is doing well, he is back at home. He said to let everyone know he appreciates all the texts and prayers. He will be going back early next week to have the procedure that will fix his issue. Many of you may have heard that Stan Lester has had a medical issue. Stan had a spell and was taken to the hospital for tests. He will be in the hospital over night and will have further tests in the morning. He is doing well and wanted to thank everyone for all the texts he has received since this afternoon. I will keep everyone informed on his condition. Please keep him in your prayers.

FASTRAK Racing is growing yet again, as the sanctioning body has announced that it will be adding 602 Late Models to their family of divisions sanctioned under the FASTRAK brand. Although there will not be a tour for the division in 2021, FASTRAK will sanction and run a special event with the 602 class at the Dirt Track at Charlotte Motor Speedway on June 18-19th, with the possibility of a couple more events during the season, but there will be no tour. FASTRAK has done its b...est to be inclusive of all series teams when developing the 2021 rules package. FASTRAK’s National Weekly Championship will pay $2500 to win. One (1) to five (5) weekly tracks will allow the top 10 teams to be paid. If there are six (6) to fifteen (15) tracks the points will payout to the top 20, and if we can sanction 16 plus tracks, we will pay the top 30 teams in the Southeast weekly tracks. The 2021 FASTRAK schedule and rules will be released next week. We are waiting on a contract for a MAJOR event to be signed and returned before we release the schedule. The 2021 rules are done and will be posted on the FASTRAK website (www.fastrarcing.com) as well. We are extremely excited about the upcoming 2021 racing season and can't wait to share the upcoming schedule with each of you and to get back to the track with our extended racing family. We are also excited to an...nounce that Virginia Motor Speedway's Director of Marketing, Dave Seay (that's me ) will be helping with our weekly PR, graphics, and marketing (and maybe a few other things as time permits) for the 2021 season. And for those wondering, this is a part-time position, Dave is and will continue as VMS's Director of Marketing. More news and information will be released as it becomes available. I'm curious about something. We as a company have done everything we have ever said we would do, paid 100% of the point fund, paid $50,000 to win events, yet everytime we start to do something really big, people doubt us?? Case in point 113 late models in 19 at the World Championship. ... I was told after the race OH YOU WILL HAVE 150-160 this year. I say why, they say well everyone wanted to make sure you paid first. WHEN DID WE NOT PAY is my question? Then racers will follow someone that doesn't stay in business, keep their word, have favorites, etc. They go out of business every year or two then you follow them again? What am I missing here?
