Spotlight on the Fresh Fruit & Vegetable of the Week - GA RED BEETS The Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program (FFVP) is a federally assisted program providing free fresh fruit and vegetable snacks to children at eligible elementary schools during the school day. The Fayette County School Nutrition Program started the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program in December. Over spring break, the Fayette County Public Schools Nutrition Program will offer 3 options for receiving FREE meal service during the closure. These meals will be provided to ALL children free of charge. For more details, go to: https://www.fcboe.org/domain/2784

School Nutrition teamed up with School Nurses to help with the Covid Vaccine Clinic. Over 1800 employees were able to receive the vaccine. With teamwork, the clinic ran smoothly and efficiently. Students who bring a lunch from home are able to take advantage of Lunchbox Buddy for FREE. Premade bags will be available with a variety of delicious items and will be available during lunch time.

Evening Meal Service will resume on Friday, January 8th. Meals are FREE and available to ALL students in Fayette County. This service is offered every Monday, Wednesday, & Friday from 4 pm to 6 pm at Spring Hill Elementary and North Fayette Elementary.
