Rapid rifle fire occurred directly in front of my home last night. First, we are ok, but shook. Currently looking to move. Second, I would like to say "screw yo...u" to everyone who would try and take away my right to own firearms, because it took the cops 20 GODDAMN MINUTES to respond to RAPID RIFLE FIRE in a residential area, despite me only living 1.6 miles away from the police station. I'm very lucky that it was not aimed at my home, and I'm glad overall that no one was hurt. But to think that me and my wife may have had to rely on surviving for 20 whole minutes against rifle fire until the cops showed up without our own firearms... that thought is terrifying. Third, this shit is no longer a game. We as a nation must stop the divisiveness NOW. IDGAF which "side" you're on, because we are headed for something nasty if we don't come together. In all my life, I have never been as scared as I was last night. If we do not calm down right fucking now, our major cities will all be turned into literal warzones. Our cushy lives of having spirited debates on Facebook will be stripped faster than you can even process it (first hand experience after last night), and then we will all be wishing we still had what we lost. Fourth, take your home security seriously. Three days ago, my wife and I ordered cameras, motion lights, and door alarms because we sensed things heating up. Literally the day all of those arrived, this happened. This is not a fucking game anymore, people. Also grow potatoes and buy #bitcoin.
