Jim Castle, Sandra Oh’s dad says Thanks so much to the church for the shawl and the prayers. He is improving each day and hopes to make it back to Peachtree City soon. He really appreciates having Sandra’s help after his knee replacement.
Had a great time with the Wrights, Hays, Leong’s and Veley’s having a gathering in person at long last! Beautiful evening on the porchsocially distanced, except for the photo. Missed having the Sanderson’s with us for our reunion after 13 months!
The Presbyterian Women Life Membership award was presented to Rev Morgan Hay this morning for her year of creatively keeping our congregation safe and worshiping together during this past year. Past recipients are Iola Snow, Cathy Olson and Carolyn Gulick.
Thanks to Drew Mejeris for refurbishing our picnic tables and cleaning and mulching the picnic area for his Eagle Scout project. We are enjoying using our picnic area!
The flowers this morning are given by Julie Reagan snd Bill Thomas in celebration of the birth of their great nephew Lucas Beam.
New Day Circle met outside for donuts before Bible study. Great to see everyone again!
Carol Stallings is covered in prayer with her Afghan from the prayer Shawl Ministry as she awaits her cardio version to restore normal heart rhythm.
Beverly Garner is covered in prayers with her two dogs as she heals.

DCE Joshua Woodsmith told the children about filling up paper turkeys with money for Thornwell Home for Children where foster teens live in Clinton, SC. If you are young or young at heart, pick up a turkey!
Kim and Aaron Diffey told us about the Presbyterian Women’s new or gently used clothing drive for Bloom Closet.

Calling all Presbyterian Women! Warm clothing drive for the Bloom Closet until November 15th. Check out the blast on Tuesday to see their immediate needs for children’s clothing. Collection bins are located near the Welcome Center and Narthex.
Morgan preached from the book of Philippians which gives us hope in turbulent times.
DCE Josh Woodsmith shared pictures of our children with their pumpkin creations. He told them to be creative and unique in whatever they do.
