This week, FC took home two awards from the 2019 NOMAtlanta NSPIRE awards. The NOMAtlanta NSPIRE Awards recognizes the very best in local design in the following categories: Built Projects, Unbuilt Projects and Historic Dedications. FC’s HJAIA West Deck project received 3rd place in the unbuilt category. Marc Johnson, Associate Principal, was recognized for his work on The Center for Civil and Human Rights, taking first place in the built category. Meet Katie Trice. Katie is Associate Principal at Fitzgerald Collaborative, a multi-disciplinary design firm in Atlanta. Her background and education in both Ar...chitecture and Interior Design has enabled her to develop a vast portfolio of projects over her 15-year career, including Corporate, Higher Education, Healthcare, Retail, Hospitality, Civil and Aviation. As head of the Interior Architecture Studio, she has been Lead Designer on more than 500,000 s.f. and helped grow the small firm from 4 to over 20 persons in less than 4 years. Most recently, she has been overseeing the modernization of the world’s busiest airport, Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport, including updating the interiors of the terminals and airline hold rooms, and coordinating with a large team of architects, engineers, and contractors and working with major client and user groups including Delta, Southwest, the Department of Aviation and the City of Atlanta.
