Today marks two years since Hurricane Maria made landfall in Puerto Rico. When José flew down to see how World Central Kitchen could help, we had no idea what #...ChefsForPuertoRico would become. What started as serving meals from a friend's restaurant, turned into mobilizing a network of chefs & 20,000 volunteers to serve nearly 4 million meals. The spirit, resilience, and dedication of the Puerto Rican people who showed up to feed their neighbors forever changed WCK. . Now two years later, we find ourselves in The Bahamas, cooking again alongside many of the Puerto Rican chefs who made our efforts after Hurricane Maria possible. And we have seen once more a community come together for their neighbors during the most challenging times. See more

September Pavilion Series Info! We can’t wait for our September pavilion series on Friday, Sept. 27 6:30-10:00pm. We have live music from the Eric Culberson Ban...d, hot dogs, chips, drinks and more. We are donating 100% of the profits to Hurricane Relief projects like the The Salvation Army Savannah GA and we just added one more: World Central Kitchen. It has been just over two weeks since Hurricane Dorian devastated The Bahamas, wiping out communities and displacing thousands. In that time, WCK has served more than 250,000 meals to survivors of the storm. WCK continues to deliver meals to the Abaco Islands via helicopter where they distribute them further with the help of local team members. Meals are being delivered to community centers, clinics, churches, and local neighborhoods.
