We’re asking everyone to please get vaccinated and keep wearing a mask in public because until people focus on their health we cannot operate a legitimate business. We hope to get back to events soon without being accountable for the guests we never invited.

Needless to say our DJ biz has taken a hit. Thanks to being in a delivery town we have been able to work with some sweet vendors. The work is minimal but we will not jeopardize our talented DJs health over an event. Keep masking up and stay tuned. The DJ business may go away but you can’t take the DJ out of DJ Fonix.

Effective Immediately: All events booked with Fonix Entertainment must pass a COVID-19 checklist as provided by the CDC due to a spike in Corona parties and the uptick of travel to Georgia with limited testing. This process will be reviewed with every current and future event until further notice. This includes an addendum in our contracts where clients will agree to be held accountable for the health and safety of our DJs. We have already lost a DJ to COVID-19 while another ...DJ is fighting the virus. Both needed money desperately and decided to work personal gigs. Please keep them in your prayers. We are in the business of spreading joy not a virus. Our plan is to be on the forefront of practicing event safety when testing becomes widely available. Until then we will protect our talented contractors along with reporting events not following social distancing measures or masks to state and federal authorities. Times are challenging. We want to DJ to bring happiness but not a virus. We’re following all COVID-19 protocols regarding venue safety and reporting events not following mask protocols. If your venue is not following them, we will not play. If we can all just wear a mask and social distance, this wouldn’t be such an issue. Or attributing to spreading the virus. No one wants to be super spreader. Every event is a case by case. We are among the DJs in the fight to prevent the virus and to find ways to hold safe events. #stopthevirus

The past few weeks have been difficult to say the least. Never did I think bringing people together would be banned causing so much financial and physical pain for all the right reasons. It’s is more important to be healthy than to make money because if your not healthy, you can’t enjoy your life. Finding some Coco DJ’s candies in the store was a treat, a reminder, a sign that all things have a balance to moderation. The farther we swing, the longer we endure COVID-19. Thank... you for all our clients patience during this time of a pandemic. We are addressing events as quick as possible while maintaining operation as we are taking measures to scale back to adjust to the financial instability. Our business may or may not qualify for any stimulus aid. Feel free to provide any recommendations for financial assistance. In addition we are adjusting to providing truly remote DJ services with possibly the first event service following COVID-19 protocols to date. In addition, we are open to branching out with other entertainment groups to endure this intimate challenge. Feel free to chime in. While Fonix Entertainment may be going through some changes in the coming weeks, you can never take the DJ out of DJ Fonix. Yes, we would all like a money tree right now but greed comes at a price, and it’s your health. We are amidst a crisis and social distancing may kill our industry but it may save you. Through debt, pain, and passion our commitment remains the same. We are not going anywhere cause we’re all going to need a party after this.
