You can also apply for a no cost $1,000 advance on your tax refund, again this year, so come see us to get that if you need some of your refund before they start releasing them in probably late February. Last but not least, I want to say THANK YOU, to all my wonderful clients who have been so patient and understanding with me after having Covid earlier in the year, and my mama unexpectedly passing away this year. If you haven't gotten your stimulus yet, this is probably why. It's the same issue as last time. This is the latest update we received.

I tested positive for Covid 19 today, so unfortunately I will have to close the office and quarantine for now. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. I will be retested later, and the office will be cleaned and ready to open back up as soon as I'm cleared. Thanks for your patience and understanding while we deal with this.

This is the information that we received on the stimulus payments.

If you received your refund through a check at our office, or your the preparation fees were taken out of your refund, your stimulus checks are not coming to us. The bank that was used for this, set up temporary accounts to route the refunds and the fees. We received an email from that bank, saying that no stimulus checks would be sent to them or us. If the IRS messed up and sent it to those temporary accounts, the money would automatically be sent back to the IRS to be ...resent to the individuals. Sorry we can't be of more help with this, but this is the only information that we have received and we have no way of changing anything or checking on any stimulus payments. The account numbers that are showing up is a different account number for everyone, because it was a temporary account used to reroute the refunds and fees only. Just wanted to clear that up because there is so much confusion this morning and everyone thinks their stimulus checks are coming to us. We are trying to answer everyone's calls and messages about this, but are currently overwhelmed and can't keep up with the responses.
