Picture it: Thanksgiving 2020, a nation on their knees in thankfulness and peace. Thanksgiving 2020 will be what we make it. As we enter into a new era in America and sadly, consequently throughout the world, this holiday is a celebration of the triumph over hard times, sickness, famine, bondage and tyranny. The history of America and the greatness of a nation blessed by God is what we should focus on and teach to our next generations. ... So rather than talk about how hard things are ( and my heart deeply cares about all who suffer). We must teach the history of this wonderful holiday in light of the hard times that caused us to celebrate it in the first place. From the beginning of time, all history is fraught with waves of hardship and good time. Feast and famine. Wars and peacetime. There is always sin in the world and bad people trying to overcome good people. Our first thanksgiving was a time when good people bowed and gave thanks in peace with the inhabitants of the nation. And all worshiped God in friendship and in peace. Don’t let progressives convolute our history. Americans are a peace loving, God fearing, freedom seeking people. We want to live in freedom, peace, reasonable tolerance, able to live the way we want, and let others live the way they want. We haven’t lost that unless you and I agree to give it up. What goes on around your table will either bring happiness and blessings or sadness and grief. It’s your day. And you get to decide what you want it to be. America will not be lost unless we give her up. We learned a great deal of sad things going on in government. But we also learned that regardless of the disasterous fraud that is being uncovered, an overwhelming majority of Americans chose what was right. And we are still here. The soul of America is strengthen around the dinner table. I wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving. Picture it: Thanksgiving 2020- a grateful nation on her knees in thankfulness and peace.
