MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT: Foundation Family, ... For the past 5 years, we have poured our hearts and souls into Foundation Sports on a daily basis. As an organization, we have seen tremendous growth and become a nationally recognized program. We have also given back to our community and always had a focus of doing things the right way, both on and off the field. We are proud of the work we have done and are thankful for the coaches, players, families and partners that chose to be a part of what we were building. We are forever grateful and appreciative of your support and trust! We are excited to announce that a new ownership group has purchased our organization. This group will be led by Blake Austin, who is currently a Foundation Sports’ coach and our player development coordinator. Blake will now be President of Foundation Sports and be responsible for carrying on the culture, success, and future growth of Foundation Sports. Coach Blake will assume responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the organization and can be reached at [email protected]. We will continue to be available, as needed, to assist in the transition. In addition, we will both continue to be heavily involved in the 2021 high school season to ensure that it proceeds as communicated and expected. You can expect to see us in the facility and involved with the organization that we helped build and love dearly. We are excited about the energy and passion that the ownership group brings to the table and are confident in their ability to take the organization to the next level. We hope that you are as excited for the facility re-opening as we are! The projected re-opening is on course for mid to late May. The ownership group is taking the time build the facility with the long-term success of baseball and softball players in mind. The focus will continue to be on development for players of all ages. ANNOUNCEMENT: We are excited to announce, Scott Fletcher as an instructor in our organization. Coach Scott brings an extensive resume in the game of baseball that includes 15 years as a MLB player and 12 years as an mlb affiliated coach. Time with the Detroit Tigers 2015-2020 and Colorado Rockies 2009-2011 holding the positions of hitting and infield coordinator. He was the Assistant Hitting coach for the Atlanta Braves from 2012-2014 where the team reached the playoffs 2 ...out of the 3 years and led the National League in HRs in 2013. He played 15 seasons in the Major Leagues, with the Cubs, White Sox, Rangers, Brewers, Red Sox, and Tigers. In 1986 he was named the American League Player of the month for July and hit .300 for the season. In 1988 he led the Rangers in hitting for the third consecutive year. He has coached at the youth, college, and professional levels of baseball, and was one of the founders of the video analysis company RightView Pro. Coach Scott will be available for individual or small group lessons for hitting and infield work for players 14u+.
