How to develop your dressage horse by teaching him to love learning http://bit.ly/2KHANcN
Can you spot the signs of a concussion? https://bit.ly/3jB1v4J
George was very busy today running the lesson show...
The first step to understanding how best to care for the horse’s joints is to understand the anatomy of the joint all the different pieces that come together to make the joint healthy and able to accomplish its job. http://bit.ly/2KC8Xyy
George was not sure what to do while Karla’s kitten was taking a run around. Ultimately George chose a good hiss to let kitten know his exploring and his zipping around under the bench was getting out of hand.
Ugh! Beavers! They built back the whole dam overnight. Grrr.
Touch is the most essential way through which we can communicate and bond with our horse. Sixty percent of a horse’s body mass is muscle, so proper muscle health is essential to a horse’s general health and performance. http://bit.ly/2Wy5sAv
Beavers! They are so industrious but they cannot be allowed to dam the creek~ Our horses are not aquatic. Beavers are the second largest rodents after the capybaras. They have stout bodies with large heads, long chisel-like incisors, brown or gray fur, dexterous front feet, webbed back feet, and flat, scaly tails. The animals can be found in a number of freshwater habitats, such as rivers, streams, lakes, and ponds. They are herbivorous and consume primarily tree bark, but ...may also eat aquatic plants, brush, grasses, and sedges. Beavers are known for building dams and lodges using tree branches, vegetation, rocks, and mud; they chew down trees for building material. Dams impound water and lodges serve as shelters. Beavers are considered to be a keystone species, and their infrastructure creates wetlands used by many other species. Adult males and females live in monogamous pairs with their kits and yearlings. Beavers are highly territorial.
Last fall I purchased what is essentially the bumper pull trailer of my dreams. . . While June’s safety and comfort were my top priority, having a dressing room with tons of space and windows was a definite bonus. http://bit.ly/2WfEV5K
Do your dressage!
Karla and Finn were getting to know her kitten, who has not been given a name yet.
. . . the biggest highlight of the weekend was this: Jack hung his head out the stall. http://bit.ly/2Wg9I2p
Fun! Can you name the breeds!
