Bart is our Construction Superintendent over our water distribution system! He directs and oversees everything from field repair crews to meter services and so much more. Thank you Bart for your continued dedication and leadership to our utility and our customers!

Brooke is our Utility Senior Accountant! She says her favorite part of the job is getting to balance out numbers at the end of the month. "When everything zeros out, that's perfect!" We like that part too Thank you Brooke for all you do for Gainesville Water Resources!

Michelle is one of our awesome Civil Engineers! She and her team members oversee projects all across the city, from plant updates to streetscaping projects- wherever our infrasture lies. We're grateful for the leadership, knowledge and fun you bring. Thank you Michelle, for all you do for our utility, our customers and our City!

Troy is one of our Shift Supervisors at our Lakeside Water Treatment Plant! He does a great job overseeing the operators on his shift and at maintaining a fabulous head of hair. Thank you Troy for all you do for our water customers and Gainesville Water Resources!

Big news for Georgia

Crissy is our Senior Customer Service Specialist! As part of her job, she oversees our service windows and phone room to ensure we are providing our customers with a high level of professional service. Thank you Crissy for all you do for our customers and Gainesville Water Resources!

Jeremy is one of our Shift Supervisors at our Linwood Water Reclamation Facility (WRF)! He plans and directs work on day shift for the plant operators. Thank you Jeremy for your leadership and helping our plant run smoothly. You are an asset to our utility!

Gainesville/Hall County has a new Adopt A Stream chemical monitor! Our chemical monitors test local streams on a monthly basis and report their numbers to the state. Thank you to all who volunteer with us! Georgia Adopt-A-Stream

UPDATE (8 p.m. Jan. 13): The road has been reopened. ROAD CLOSURE: To allow Gainesville Water Resources to repair a water main break, the right-hand southbound ...lane of Candler Road (Highway 60) has been shut down between Silverwood Drive and Bolman Road until 7 p.m. today, Jan. 13. Those navigating the area are urged to drive carefully, and watch for construction workers and equipment during this time.
