Georgia Atlanta Mission, President and Sister Foote 02.11.2020

We just had our first Georgia Atlanta Mission Reunion a few weeks ago in Alpine, Utah. It was incredible to be with so many of our beloved missionaries again. We had about 175 for missionaries and a total of about 250 people with friends and spouses and family members. It felt like heaven being surrounded by so many people we love and care about so deeply. I hope that sharing the link of the album of photos will work so y'all can feel a little bit of the joy of that night. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/

For anyone struggling with perfectionism or trying to forgive themselves or just discouragement, we hope this blog post written by Sister Christina Kelly Foote will bring you hope. Please share it with anyone you feel could benefit from it.

This is my first blog post ever. Writing is not my strong suite. It was harder than I thought it would be to translate my thoughts into the written word. I'm also not that good at technology yet so it is certainly not perfect but I feel passionate about these things that I learned and so I'm putting it out there anyway. I hope you will take a few minutes to read it and if anything in it connects with you that you will share it with others. #sharegoodness #artandlife #Godisgood

Sometimes we all go through hard things but we can trust that God will be there by our side. Please take a few minutes to read this great blog post by our youngest daughter, Kimberly Foote. Our plan is to share a new blog post each Sunday. (By the way, she is almost fully recovered from the accident now)

One of the things we we felt inspired to be involved in, now that we have finished serving our mission, is a family blog called FOOTEnotes on Faith. We wanted to find a way to continue to share the joy and peace of the gospel with as many people as possible. We need your help to make this happen. Please read this introductory post and then if you would like to, like and follow and share it. We are just trying to get the blog off the ground right now but pray that it will become a powerful force for good that will help others come unto Christ and deepen their relationship with Him.

A few more photos from last weekend.

So President and Sister Clayton decided to start their own mission Facebook page so we will keep this one at least somewhat active and will use it to post pictures of our returned missionaries when we get the chance to see them and other things we feel inspired to share. We just spoke in our home ward in Las Vegas on August 12th and we were surprised at how many of our returned missionaries came to support us. The best part of the weekend was when all of those 50+ missionaries came to the front of the chapel to form an instant choir singing Savior, Redeemer of my Soul. The Spirit felt was so powerful! Sadly we didn't take very many photos that weekend but we will share the few we did take. If any of you took some, please share them with us.

President and Sister Clayton have arrived and are now leading the Georgia Atlanta Mission. They are so wonderful and y’all are really going to love them. Thanks for all your love and prayers and support. We hope we get the chance to meet the families of our awesome Missionaries sometime. The tags are off but the memories of this time will live in our hearts forever. (Thanks to all the sisters who gave us selfie lessons. We are getting better at them )
