Georgia Nursing Leadership Coalition

The GNLC has been hard at work. This past spring, we spent time in Atlanta speaking with lobbyist and congressmen and women on the importance of APRNs in the state of GA. An Appropriations Bill for FY2017 was passed and includes $200,000 in funding for loan repayment for APRNs and PAs who practice in rural and underserved areas, $4.3 million in additional pay for public health nurses, and $6 million for a new Behavioral Health Crisis Stabilization Center.

Doctoral Symposium 2016 will be held Saturday, November 12 at Georgia State University in downtown Atlanta!!
