We are so excited for Mr. Felton Bud Edwards! He is the first patient in the state of Georgia to have Johnson & Johnson’s new lens, EYHANCE, implanted at the time of cataract surgery. This is the first FDA approved lens in the U.S. that provides excellent distance vision along with an increase depth of focus for improved intermediate vision that is covered by insurance. The Georgia Ophthalmologists team and I are honored to have been a part of this momentous event as we continue to be leaders in the most innovative technologies to care for our patients’ eyes.
