Today, Saturday, January 19, 2019, beginning St 8:00 a.m., Toastmasters District 44 held their Mid - Year Club Officer Training (TLI), Toastmasters Leadership Institute. The session was held at the Cumberland Community Church, 3110 Sports Ave., SE, Smyrna, GA 30080 As Club Officers, we attend training twice a year. Each Club has seven officers:... President VP Education* VP Membership Treasurer VP Public Relations Secretary Sergeant at Arms* Toastmasters International (www.toastmasters.org), is a non profit organization that assist individuals strengthen their communication and leadership skills. These skills will help you in your personal, professional, and religious life. I belong to two Toastmasters Clubs: GDOL Toastmasters (since 2013) Early Risers (since 2018) I hold two Officer positions with the GDOL Club: VP Education* Sergeant at Arms* Today I attended the session for the VP Education. Even though I have held this position before, you can ALWAYS learn something new. My GDOL Club Member, Dianne Wade, attended the Secretary session. The Leadership of our District 44 Toastmasters is very supportive and there for whatever we need as Members.
