GBC RECAP: This week we celebrated and participated in two important days, Administrative Professionals’ Appreciation Day and Earth Day! Pictured below is a beautiful flower arrangement given to our HR & Corporate Executive Assistant, Gail Brown, who is a key person in keeping the day to day happenings at GBC running smoothly! For Earth Day this year, we did our part by participating in a Electronics Recycling Event held at our Powers Ferry location. All items donated to E-SCRAPX are kept out of landfills by finding avenues to reuse, refurbish, and recycle! This week, GBC Family members participated in the "Drive Fore Education Invitational Golf Tournament" hosted by Southern Crescent Technical College. "Halloween Haunts 2020" was a huge success filled with good food and baked treats, creative costumes, and games with prizes! This event was also a chance to give back by putting a spin on the "Angel Tree," and instead, a Halloween theme where cards were pulled from the line and items listed on each card pulled will be purchased for children in need at Clayton County Department of Family and Children Services (DCFS) this holiday season.
