#JUSTICEFORLAYLA Update....From what we have been told (no calls still from Bartow AC or DAs office) 1. DA is looking at upgrading charges...on going investigation so no one can say more 2. We have been told (*can't find nor confirm this) that Bartow AC does have the ability to issue must appear/citations for Magistrate Court. *They also, can give information to DAs office to see if Superior or State court charges can be pressed, through DA prosecutors. 3. One of our Layla... vets is working with DAs office on Layla’s behalf. Other one has not been contacted 4. Confirmed-Kingston Chief of Police was willing to do what was right by Layla but it is being handled by DAs office. 5. Director of AC, who we called daily & left voice-mail for, was back in office on Monday, 10/19. 6. OUR pictures, video's, and vet documentation is with DA, as proof of Layla’s condition. 7. We have reached out to County Commissioner to set up a meeting with our attorney (paid for by Ginny Milner Foundation-THANK YOU) & us so we can share our ordeal on Layla’s behalf and try to put things in place to ensure animal cruelty & neglect cases get proper attention and prosecution will be successful. *It's budget meeting week so calendar is full, but waiting for call back. Thank you to everyone that has called, posted, shared and written to the ones that should have been there for Layla We will continue her fight and keep you posted.

He is out safe! Fed and ready to rest after his ordeal. If you would like to donate to his care, that would be awesomeWe are waiting to hear back from the vet and will post an update.
