Functional Friday! We use this exercise as a way to build up load tolerance in the patellofemoral joint and the patellar tendon. We don’t recommend trying this if you are in the early stages of runner’s knee or jumper’s knee, but if you are farther along in recovery, it can be a great way to fortify the anterior structures of the knee.
