Meet Larry Boling: Larry will depart this Saturday to serve handicapped children in Jamaica. While he has been going on short-term mission trips for years, this one will look a little different. Practicality wise, this mission looks like transporting kids to the doctor, providing prescription needs, looking for medical equipment that they may need in their house, and holistically serving them in the best way possible. ... When asked, "What is something you are currently praying for and/or seeking out of this mission spiritually?" Larry responded: "One of the things God has already been doing is teaching me to wake up everyday and say, 'okay God, what do you want to do today?' as opposed to saying 'here’s my mission, here’s what I’m doing and how it’s going to be.' If nothing else, 2020 has been full of many unknowns. Pastor Tony reminded us on Sunday that we don't have to be fearful of the unknowns. We can make it through the unknown, by being anchored to the God we know. When we look at His word and see His faithfulness toward us in the past, we can rest assured He will always be with us.
