GC celebrated our risen Lord on Easter Sunday. Our Flower Guild clad our church in Easter glory. Our GC family was well represented by a variety of ages & families. We even had cello music by Carson Webb. As Father Sam celebrated his last Easter as our rector, we were blessed to have his family with us. Communion makes things seem almost normal. However, as Father Sam (& Toby) pointed out, we do miss our fresh bread at Communion. Thank you, Easter Bunny for treating our kids!

The next Red Cross Blood Drive will be at St. Julian Hall on April 8 from 12 to 5 PM. To sign up, go to https://www.redcross.org/give-blood.html. Because of Covid restrictions, no walk-ins are allowed. Be sure to eat a good breakfast and drink lots of water before your appointment.

I (Laura) wanted to take a moment to thank all of my GC family for their kindness since the passing of my father, Kenneth David Kerby. He passed away on 1-10 of complications from COVID-19 at Habersham Medical Center. He & my mom raised me as a part of Grace-Calvary, where he served on the Vestry as both Jr & Sr Warden. Most of the history of Grace-Calvary that I know I learned from him & the recently deceased David Greene. Grace-Calvary remained dear to him until the end.
