Shipping out a 125 ton, 102 foot long dredge ladder this morning. It's headed to operate in the Ohio River in Kentucky. Designed and fabricated right here on Sand Bar Ferry Road by this talented group.

Hagler Systems' newest Dredge - The Titan! This is a spud dredge with a hydraulically actuated swing ladder capable of dredging to 29'. The suction line on the pump is 16". The Titan 16 dredge is capable of pumping 2000 cubic meters/hr of material with an SG of 1.3. The cutter head is powered by a 75 HP hydraulic motor. Electronics on the dredge are powered by a 25 kW hydraulic generator. A 755 HP CAT C-18 diesel engine coupled with a Logan clutch and ZF gear are used to power all the hydraulics and the pump during operation.

Here is the Dredge Ladder leaving the Hagler Systems shop in Augusta, Georgia. It will travel 2,700 miles to Alberta, Canada where it will be assembled with the dredge pontoon assembly. The ladder section, as it is shipped, weighs approximately 165,000 lbs or 82.5 tons. This section of the ladder is 90.5’ long with shipping dimensions of 16’ wide and 13’2 high. Thank you to Mammoet and Richards Transport Ltd for arranging and shipping this incredible Hagler Systems milestone.

The Hydra Dredge, engineered and fabricated by Hagler Systems. The Hydra platform is 57.5’ wide and 170’ long. It is capable of pumping slurry with an SG of 1.5 from 100’ deep at 22,000 gal/min. The pump is powered by a 3000 HP electric motor running at 514 RPM. Assembled at the ladder end is a custom designed industrial shredder which can reduce the size of any debris to approximately 5. The Hydra Dredge weighs in at approximately 1.8 million lbs.
