I’ve had a fantastic weekend at the Integrative Veterinary Medical Institute learning about spinal manipulation! This time we focused on the front end and at my next visit in April we’ll focus on the hind end. Hartwell Equine will be offering spinal manipulation come spring so if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask!

Hartwell Equine is excited to offer chiropractic adjustments this year! Dr. Phillips has begun a 6 month course to be certified for equine manipulation. Adjustments will be offered starting this spring!

I think I can relate to this after the holidays. Anyone else??

Had the pleasure of performing a dental on one of my adorable patients today! You can imagine how painful it is to eat with the points seen in the before picture. If you notice your horse losing weight or dropping food, it’s time to schedule a dental! Remember, Hartwell Equine is having their dental special during the months of December, January, and February.

This donkey has been seen wandering around Elrod Ferry and DNR is unable to locate the owner. Is anyone missing a donkey or know the owners?
