On Monday, Keisha Head, social worker with Haven Atlanta, The Salvation Army of Metro Atlanta’s anti-human trafficking program, participated in a conversation with Ivanka Trump, Attorney General William Barr, and Georgia Governor Brian Kemp. Barr and Trump were in Atlanta to announce that the federal government is allocating $100 million to organizations around the U.S. that are devoted to fighting human trafficking. During her presentation, Ms. Head spoke about the vulnerabi...lities and barriers that youths face within communities that lack societal infrastructure. She also advocated for the abolition of laws that allow for the prosecution of human trafficking survivors.
