Welcome Back, students! The Spelman College Health Careers Program is hosting an Informational Session/Ice Cream Social on Sunday, August 14th! Come find out information on upcoming events, get your questions answered, meet the staff, and have a scoop on us! Don't miss it! Parents are welcome to attend!

This event was a Physical Therapy Roundtable discussion with professionals in the physical therapy/physical medicine field. The panel also included a graduating senior, Faith Kirkland, who has been accepted into the Emory University Doctorate of Physical Therapy Program. The discussion included information about admissions, shadowing experiences and career outlook.

Spelman Students including many of our Health Careers students participated in Spelman College's annual Research Day on April 15th

April is Autism Awareness month. Dr. Rosalind Gregory-Bass, Director and Mr. Leslie Williams, Pre-Health Advisor and Clinical Liaison visit the Marcus Autism Center to discuss future partnerships and shadowing opportunities.

The Health Careers Staff met with Spelman College alumnae currently working at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Atlanta offices. We are looking forward to having them share their experiences with our students in the Fall!

HCOPPP Applications are now open and available for first year students to apply!! The application deadline is 4/25/16
