The thru-hiker season is in full swing! Start your journey on the AT at our new and improved Hiker Hostel! Just a 10-minute drive from Woody Gap, it is the perfect retreat from the trails. Eight single bunk bed accommodations are available in our communal bedrooms. These accommodations are ideal for individual travelers (or small groups) seeking simple respite from their trail journey. So, come stay the night, meet some fellow hikers, and regroup before returning to the trail.

We are open for business The new and improved #HikerHostel is located 10 miles east of Woody Gap, 20 miles from Springer Mountain, and 22 miles from the Approach Trail. When you book a bunk, you have access to laundry, shower, indoor & outdoor common areas, full kitchen, and free WiFi. We also have shuttle services to/from the trail and the North Springs MARTA or Gainesville bus station for those who haven't yet started their thru-hike.
