The @hiphophighered design time sat with Kanye’s #JesusIsKing - both the film, the soundtrack, and the @beats1official interview, the most detailed conversation about his creative process behind experimental project and the phases leading up to his mashing of gospel with hip hop performance, visual art and digital media. In the interview, West says he realized his calling at Coachella, Easter Sunday 4/22; 1 year after calling Trump his brother and distancing from him 6 months... later. 3 months later he hosted the 1st Sunday Service at his house. Does Kanye’s MAGA Era have anything to do with how this album turned? He had many battles- ideological and spiritual ones - in between. @vanlathan called him out. As he should have.
